Quilting Techniques Old & New
- Oct 19, 2019 01:00 pm

Create your first log cabin quilt as you master the techniques to making sewing easier than ever before. In this quilting techniques course, offered through Southwestern Oregon Community College, our fabulous instructor Debbie Williams will guide you through a creative journey.

Cost: $ 115.00
We will be using the Accuquilt cutter, cube, and 2 1/2" strip die, or you can cut the strips with your rotary cutter. I used the 9" cube If you have a cube of a different size, it will work also, just be a slight difference in finish product. If you do not have an accuqilt or you do not have a cube you are welcome to use ours, you just provide the fabric. Pick up complete supply list at the store. We will be making 2 different types of blocks and one will include a fussy cut with the Accuquilt. Fussy cut not required. You can use any fabric, your choice. Please reserve your spot today, we look forward to seeing you.

Sew Social

We have a Sew Social once a month on Mondays from Noon to 3:00. This is an afternoon social where you bring a project you are working on and sew with others, for an afternoon of conversation, sewing and good company. This is not a class, but instead a social time for everyone to share what they are doing and see what others are making, giving you new ideas and maybe even picking up a few tips. Check our calendar for times and come join us.

REMEMBER TO SIGN UP so that we can accommodate you.

Machine Operation Classes

If you purchased a machine from us, we offer operation classes for your sewing, embroidery machine, serger machine, or long arm machine. These classes are free with your purchase. Check the Google Calendar for dates and times. You can also attend for just $25 if you haven't bought a machine from us. When attending class, please make sure to bring your machine.

REMEMBER TO SIGN UP FOR CLASSES so we know you are coming and can prepare accordingly.
