ACCUQUILT SCRAPPY SAMPLER



Come sew , learn a new skill, or refresh an old, and most important enjoy the company of like minded crafters.  We will be cutting and sewing 5 blocks per class. Your quilt size will depend on the die size you choose. 

Class is from  9:30 to 4:00 each class. Feel free to bring your lunch. 

You will receive  the handout at the first class for all the blocks you will be making.
We will be using the Accuquilt go cutter and Qube dies. If you don't have these and wish to participate. There will be a small fee for use of the Qubes  and dies. Cost of this class is $60.00 for all 7 weeks.

Materials Included: Iron and Accuquilt cutter and dies.
Requirements: Supplies: Accuquilt cutter and Cube (if you don?t have an Accuquilt cutter, for $10.00 a class we will supply it and the cube for you, Just tell us at sign up if you need to use the cutter and what size cube you want to make. Cutting mat, ruler, and rotary cutter Sewing machine,1/4 inch foot, thread, scissors, normal sewing supplies Marking pen We will provide an iron, but if you have a travel iron and pressing mat, you are welcome to bring It. Fabric: 25 fat quarters for variety, Background fabric 3.5 yards, includes sashing. Border 1 ? yds, Corner stones from leftover fat quarters Quilt size: 6? cube with 5? border 42 x 58? (35 blocks) layout 5 x 7 blocks 8? cube with 5? border 52 x 72? (35 blocks) layout 5 x 7 blocks 9? cube with 5? border 57 x 68? (30 blocks) layout 5 x 6 blocks 10? cube with 5? border 62 x 74? (30 blocks) layout 5 x 6 blocks 12? cube with 5? border 58 x 72? (20 blocks) layout 4 x 5 blocks Your quilt will depend on the cube you use. You can change the size of your quilt if you prefer by adding or subtracting blocks, if you do not need the full 35 blocks for your quilt you can make a table runner with the left over blocks We will cut and sew 5 blocks a week. If you have an Accuquilt at home and feel comfortable cutting a head of class please feel free do so and then just sew at class, but please bring your fabric, cutter and cube incase you need to cut some more pieces.

Instructor Bio: Debbie has been teaching classes for us for many years. She is an in store Accuquilt instructor. Students always leave her class with the knowledge of knowing how to do more projects. You will pick up lots of tips from other class members.
