The Baby Lock Zest offers the essentials you need to start sewing on a budget. This machine is based on the oscillating hook style that was introduced a century ago. Often called a class 15 hook and bobbin case, it has been very popular around the world. It is not as smooth running as the top load rotary hook machines, but is still a reliable product. Because of the easy to find parts, I usually donate these style machines to missionaries going to Central and South America.
